Hey y’all. I work in IT for a health system in my area, and am trying to teach myself how to develop HL7 interfaces to potentially land a spot on our interfaces team when one opens up. I used to be an implementation engineer for a device integrator, so I’ve worked with V2 ORU quite a bit and know how to read it, but I’d like to try my hand at the other variants (ADT, ORM, FHIR, etc…). I’ve installed mirth connect and mysql on my personal laptop, but I’m not entirely sure where to go from here. Im looking for suggestions for how to get dummy patient data I could use, what to try and build myself, and what concepts I should try to get down on my own. Any insight would be appreciated!
